Please note that all shipments require a signature at the time of delivery. Signatures must be obtained from individuals over the age of 21 years of age.

We can not ship wine orders to Alabama, Arizona, Delaware, Georgia, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Maine, Maryland, Mississippi, Montana, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Utah, Virginia and Vermont at this time.

How do you ship my order?

We ship bottles in 1-, 3-, 6- and 12-bottle boxes. We will always consolidate your order to fit the most number of bottles per box. For example, if you were to place an order of nine different bottles of wine, we would pack them in a single box.

 

How are the products packaged?
We use a combination of Styrofoam, bubble wrap and cardboard shipping containers to ensure your wine arrives in excellent shape.

 

How is my order shipped?

We ship all orders via UPS Ground service. Expedited shipping option available. Please call or e-mail us to inquire about Next Day, 2nd Day and 3rd Day UPS delivery rate.

 

Can I split my order to ship to different addresses?

Currently, our site is configured to accept a single shipping destination per order. If you want to send gifts to multiple destinations, please place one order per destination.

 

Do I have to have my order shipped?

No you don't! We offer instore pick-up. Before you place your order please state in the YOUR COMMENT section located directly above the PLACE ORDER button, that you will pick-up your order. You will be notified by email when your order is ready. The shipping & handling charges will still show on your bill but you will not be charged.   

 

How do I claim damaged Goods?
It is not uncommon for products to get damaged during delivery. JaysWine insures all products that we ship. A 1% insurance fee will be added to your bill to cover this insurance. If you would like to decline this insurance please input that information at the bottom of your order, in the space labeled YOUR COMMENT section located directly above the PLACE ORDER button. By declining this insurance you absolve JaysWine of any and all liability. If you had products shipped to one of the restricted states and they are impounded by your state or shipping carrier, you will be completely liable for any damages or loss of product. Please be certain before you get items shipped to you. You will not hold JaysWine responsible for this.

To process a breakage claim JaysWine requires that you return all damaged products to JaysWine for evaluation so we can file a claim with the appropriate carrier. If you are unable to return the damaged product, JaysWine cannot provide a refund for the damaged goods.

You may not file a claim with JaysWine if you makes a request for the carrier to leave the product without your signature. Breakage or damage not noted at time of delivery will not be refunded or replaced. Please check your order carefully.  All claims for damaged goods must be filed within 10 days of receipt of order.

The product should be sent back in its original packaging, and JaysWine may make a final assessment regarding the damaged goods.

 

How do I return products?

It is against New York State law to accept returns on wine and liquor once sold with the exception of defective bottles. Although JaysWine takes considerable care in handling our products, there are some defective bottles out there due to spoilage or tainted by an improper or poor cork. Please be aware that it is industry standard that wines that are 5 years old or older cannot be returned due to spoilage or cork taint. 

 

What if I am not available to receive the package?
It is the customer's responsibility to be present at the time of delivery. If no one is available to receive the package, a subsequent attempt to deliver will be made. Whenever possible, we encourage you to use your place of business or work address to assure the fastest delivery time. If subsequent attempts are unsuccessful, your order will be returned to JaysWine. The customer will be required to incur the cost of shipping and handling and charged a 10% restocking fee, regardless if the customer decides to cancel the order.

 

We cannot ship alcohol to PO Boxes or APO/FPO addresses. We must have a physical delivery address.
